Robert Vácha

Robert Vacha is a group leader at CEITEC Masaryk University. He worked at Lund University and the University of Cambridge, where he was a Fellow of Churchill College. Vacha received an ERC Consolidator Grant in 2020 to study and design new antimicrobial peptides by combining computer simulations and fluorescence experiments. He also determines molecular mechanisms of early steps of viral infection. He is a panel vice-chair of the Czech Grant Agency and a member of the CEITEC Scientific Board.
