Félix A. Rey

Félix Rey is Director of the Department of Structural Virology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. He has been working for more than 25 years on the viruses responsible for such major global epidemics as dengue fever, chikungunya fever, hepatitis C, respiratory syncytial virus and rotavirus. The research of Professor Félix Rey and his team is dedicated to studying the structure of pathogenic viruses and understanding the mechanisms that allow them to enter cells. Professor Félix Rey was awarded the 2015 Pasteur-Weizmann/Servier Prize for his work on emerging pathogenic viruses.
